Dear Parents and Carers,
We've had a busy week at Nancealverne with lots of exciting learning.
On Wednesday, Elm class and Aspen class went to the Acorn theatre with some other local schools to watch a performance of 'Grandma on the Moon'. All the students and staff really enjoyed themselves - it was lovely to immerse ourselves in a theatre and a local one at that!
Friday saw our first coffee morning of the academic year with Helen Green coming along to teach/refresh us in Makaton signs. Her expertise are fantastic, and we look forward to doing a similar session in the future.
Within this newsletter we have included a letter (which will be sent home in bags next week as well) about the changes to the law regarding penalty notices for unauthorised absence from school. Please read the information and ask us any questions that you may have. We are here to help.
