Dear Nancealverne Families and Friends,
As we bid farewell to another enriching half term, we are excited to reflect on the fantastic journey of your children here at Nancealverne. This half term has been filled with exciting activities, invaluable experiences, and a lot of laughter!
Our classrooms were buzzing with creativity during our themed day for Work Related Learning, where pupils embraced a variety of activities that sparked imagination and ambition.
This half term, our older pupils enthusiastically participated in enterprise schemes, learning practical skills that extend beyond the classroom. A highlight was ‘bacon baps’ which were greatly enjoyed.
Trips within our local community have been a highlight, allowing our students to engage with the world around them. These experiences not only reinforce classroom learning but also promote social skills, independence, and a sense of belonging within the broader community.
Recognizing the importance of continuous improvement, our staff engaged in professional development opportunities throughout the term. This investment in their skills and knowledge directly benefits the education and well-being of your children, and we are committed to providing the best possible support and care.
As we approach the half-term break, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you all. Your ongoing support, trust, and collaboration make these enriching experiences possible.
Wishing you and your family a rejuvenating and joyful half-term break
Warm regards,
Pippa
