Dear Parents and Carers,
What a packed newsletter we have for you this week!
There are a number of events coming up at school in the next couple of months for you to attend, including our total communication coffee morning, Christmas market and the phonics coffee morning. Please scroll further down to see more information on all of these.
If you are interested in joining our new parent teacher association (PTA) please get in contact with me (lladd@nancealverne.org.uk) to be put on the invitation list to our first meeting after half-term. I look forward to hearing from you!
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of school attendance this academic year. We appreciate sometimes circumstances mean your child will need to be off school, but we believe that consistent attendance where possible plays a pivotal role in a student's academic success and personal growth. Regular attendance ensures that students have every opportunity to engage with the curriculum, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and develop essential life skills.
Please ring the school office as early as possible if they are going to be absent, so we can ensure class teams and transport providers are aware.
If you need to talk to someone about this, please do not hesitate to contact either Lauren or Steph.
Best wishes,
Lauren Ladd (Inclusion Lead)
