Hello everyone
Christmas is just around the corner, and we hope that everyone will be able to enjoy it with their families this year. This term has continued to be a busy time in school with lots of hard work and achievements from all pupils across all classes.
Classes have really got into the Christmas spirt with pupils decorating classrooms and Christmas trees, it has been lovely to see everyone working together to achieve this. They have certainly shown their creativity and the school is looking beautifully festive.
We have also had a very mischievous elf causing a great deal of disruption in Chestnut class! Mince pies mountains and a tissue paper zip wire have been only a few antics they have played. The pupils have been very excited about seeing what the elf has got up to each morning.
Despite all the excitement around the Christmas festivities the pupils continue to keep to routines in class, and they have shown true resilience in doing this.
You will be aware of the recent concerns regarding the new Covid variant, Omicrom. We made the difficult decision to cancel our outdoor Christmas market. We are sorry for any disappointment, and we sincerely hope that we can invite parents back in to school in the New Year. The pupils have continued to make festive gifts in classes and will be bringing them home to share with you this week. They have all been very busy organising, planning and preparing the gifts, and they are looking fabulous.
Covid - we will continue to follow government guidance and keep measures in place to ensure the safety of all. We will continue to communicate with parents, and we are always happy to respond to any questions or concerns.
Thanks all for your continued support and I wish you all good wishes for Christmas and a bright and healthy 2022.
